The Philippines is an
archipelago of 7,107 islands, covering a land area of 115,739 sq. m.
(299,764 sq. km.), and has the longest discontinuous coastline in the world
¨C comparatively, twice the length of that of the United States. Located
between latitude 21 degrees and 5 degrees north of the equator and
longitudes 16 degrees and 127 degrees east of the Greenwich Meridian line,
roughly between Taiwan and Borneo. The three main island groups are Luzon,
Visayas, and Mindanao.
A tropical country due to its location, the local climate is divided into
three main seasons, which are the hot, rainy and cold. The average yearly
temperature is around 26.5 °C (79.7 °F), and humidity is about 77%.

all in Cebu, BALICASAG & CABILAO Islands in Bohol. BORACAY ISLAND, and
Dive sites in MINDANAO include CAMIGUIN ISLAND off the coast of Misamis
Oriental, DAVAO, TUBBATAHA REEF NATIONAL PARK in the middle of Sulu Sea and
the last frontier PALAWAN ISLAND.
